So my buddy Todd and I are going to be traveling to Asia this October to hit up some sweet dudes wedding, and hit up some other countries while we are there.
Here is our dates:
- Oct 2nd – 22:45 (10:45pm) Manila
- Oct 8th – 18:40 (6:40pm) Hong Kong
- Oct 12th – 11:25 (11:25am) Beijing
- Oct 18th – 13:50 (1:50pm) Tokyo
- Oct 25th – back to the US.

Eat at: Da Dong Restaurant (Beijing duck) at Bldg. 3, Tuanjie Lake, Chaoyang District.
Buy: 紅樓夢 “Dream of the Red Chamber” (also available on DVD).
TOKYO:
1) Tsukiji fish market at dawn
2) Harajuku district: people-watching and shopping latest Japanese trends (nearby: Meiji Shrine)
3) Akihabara: if you’re a gadget geek like me (also close to Ueno)
4) Mori Art Museum in the Mori Tower (Roppongi Hills)
5) Go out in Roppongi or get your butts pinched by drunken businessmen in Shinjuku
6) Watch sumo wrestling in Ryogoku
7) Go out for sake at “Sake no Ana” in Ginza (3-5-8 Ginza, Chuo-ku)
8) Check out the “food halls” in the basements of department stores like Mitsubishi
